When PAPASTRATOS approached us to create a gift box for the 90-year anniversary of ASSOS we were thrilled to would have the opportunity to work for such a historic and iconic brand in the tobacco industry.
The logotype and the packaging
Our aim was to create a gift box of high aesthetics that would honor the legacy and the high quality of the brand. The “90 years” lettermark is made with lines that represent the uninterrupted presence of ASSOS since 1931. For the main color of the box we selected white as a symbol of purity and high quality, which has remained unchanged for 90 years. Additionally, we used the brand’s historic colors of red and gold. The year “1931” is being displayed on the left side of the box as the starting point of the brand. Across the lid a grid of lines, similar to the lettermark, symbolize the long history of ASSOS, only to reach to “2021” on the right side. The interior of the box features two limited edition packages of ASSOS. These boxes were handcrafted in limited quantities.
