Nikolaou winery occupies with the wine production, since 1948. After 72 years of expertise, the family decided that it is high-time to reposition in the wine market, by communicating their values, the diversity of the products and the product quality to the audience. So, they came to our office to discuss about their vision and the possible solutions.
The logo and the visual identity
Rebranding was necessary in order for the company to communicate their values and their product quality to the people. So we redesigned the logo and the brand identity giving a modern ‘touch’. Firstly, we designed a badgewith the capital “N” from the family name “Nikolaou” as an inspiration from vineyardspanoramic view and we used bronze colour to communicate an attractive and quality brand. Then, we moved on to the visual identity design. We designed the visual identity of the brand and we also created a minimal print with the information needed about the winery’s history and the products series.
The label design
We redesigned the wines labels based on a clear and modern aesthetic. This way we tried to communicate a quality but everyday product. For a specific variety of wine series, we chose to differentiate each one using women’s names and illustrations.
