Our client approached us in order to contribute to the creation of a modern grocery store in the city of Rhodes, with emphasis on the distribution of hand-selected natural products that are hard to find in the market.
The word “Pleria” is an adverb and it means complete, perfect, without blemish. The name is inspired by the owner’s vision, which was to create a space that with unique products, that would create to the consumer a feeling of fullness through taste and nutritional value. Kostis Palamas wrote in a poem: “the better you know, the more you love “pleria”.
Logo & Brand Identity
Starting to visualize the brand, we designed a typographic logo which refers to the poetic nature of the name, while the visual interventions in the typographic characters helped us to render the organic and pure nature of the brand.
The visual identity is characterized by a simplicity in design, which combines typographic elements and an earthy colour palette, while the selection of special papers in combination with the emboss, create the natural feeling contact with the brand. The visual identity is expanded through the introduction of illustrative elements that decorate both the applications and the interior of the store, further enhancing the client’s vision.
