PORTO GALINI RESORT
The story
The hotel engaged us to design the visual identity of their premium Italian restaurant, the Greek tavern, as well as the redesign of the image of the spa.

Naming of the restaurants
In order to effectively render the premium character and the haute cuisine of the restaurant, we chose the name “Segreto” which in Italian means “secret”—while for the Greek tavern we chose the name “Metzo,” refering to the concept of “meze,” or “half portion.”
Logo design & visual identities
For the Italian restaurant, we decided to proceed with a design that holds the air of Italian finesse. The sans-serif font with the geometric character and the delicate lines yields the refined style we were looking for, while the special cuts in the typography, communicate the idea of ”hidden” and “secret.” Extending the design to the visual identity, we chose black as the dominant colour in order to reinforce the idea of ”refined,” with special papers and gold prints to complement the final result.
For the logo of the Greek restaurant, we chose a cleaner and more unpretentious design, emphasising the Greek letter “Z” which is legible in both Greek and English. For the corporate identity we have developed a series of illustrations which excellently come together in an environment such as that of the traditional tavern.
Finally, for the spa logo, we designed a symbol based on Sea Salt’s initials, rendered as waves — thus evoking the Spa experience, which connects allegorically with the view and the serenity of the sea.
