When the owners of Villa Hadi refurbished the residence in 2022, they had a very specific vision: to present a luxurious in-the-core but yet, truly simple and humanelodging experience. The services offered follow the lead of a premium accommodation but in an effortless and unpretentious mode.
Logotype and visual identity
Vacations and lodging suggestions in Mykonos have, overall, an extravagant vibe with luxury being, almost always, over-the-top. Villa Hadi’s owners wanted to give prominence to a more humane aspect of the island of the winds, where the premium services remain friendly and unpretentious. In S&Team, we designed a logo that captured this vision by representing this alternative approach. We used a typography of “premium” aesthetics but through a graphic gesture, we moved to a statement of essence: the “H”’s horizontal line transformed into a wave, symbolizing the waves of the sea, the winds of Mykonos, and the sense of being caressed and cared for.
When we started designing Villa Hadi’s website, we had, as our guide, two specific goals: the immediate transmission of the information and the visual representation of the residence per se. Our tools? A prominent typography that accentuated the verbal content, a carefully selected collection of images encapsulating the style and character of Villa Hadi, and a deliberate copywriting that represented all the above, combining the sense of luxury with the sense of being cared for.
